In addition to Dr. Shields's years of orthodontic excellence, our team has an amazing 150 years of combined experience in orthodontics and another thirty-plus years in dentistry! This highly skilled team has accumulated nearly seventy of those years of orthodontic wisdom working right here alongside Dr. Shields. For practically any challenge that might arise, whether it's an accounting or a tooth problem, one of our talented team members has solved the problem before. These special ladies even teamed up for the 2005 Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, each walking a total of sixty miles and collectively raising $24,000. Dr. Shields is extremely proud of each of these outstanding individuals comprising our team.
 Tina, Office Manager
Tina has been with us for nineteen years, keeping us on a steady course. She has all of the answers to your questions! Outside the office Tina enjoys tennis, skiing, and family time. She just recently competed in her first triathlon.
 Linda, Financial Coordinator
Lin has been with us for six years and sees her primary task as helping patients manage their investment in a beautiful smile. Linda stays busy being a mom outside the office and loves skiing, camping, and just hanging out with friends.
 Donna, Treatment Coordinator
Donna has been with us for five years, two as a patient and now three in the front office. Her public relations experience was honed as a cheerful checker at Top Foods for the fifteen years prior to joining our team. Donna creates stained glass art and enjoys reading and raising her four children.
 Sonja, Scheduling Coordinator
Sonja has been with our team one year after our Office Manager Tina stole her away from Macy's based on Sonja's pleasant demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile for her customers. Sonja and her husband Tyler were married this past summer in a beautiful ceremony. Sonja likes reading, camping, rollerblading, swimming, and any activity outdoors on a sunny day!
 Sarah, Clinical Supervisor
Sarah has been with Dr. Shields for eighteen years and is his own "Radar O'Reilly," knowing what Dr. Shields wants to do in the clinic even before he does! Sarah is the busy mom of three boys and keeps active teaching scrapbooking, following NASCAR, and camping.
 Neysa, Lead Clinical Assistant
Neysa has been zipping around the clinic at hypersonic speeds with Dr. Shields for the past eleven years and has twenty-three years experience in orthodontics. When we need something done quickly, Neysa gets the call. She enjoys camping, boating, and most of all, family time.
 Michelle, Clinical Assistant
Michelle has been assisting for sixteen years and is a joy to work with. She keeps busy outside of the office with her family, coordinating weddings, and making jewelry.

Michelle is a former patient. She has been with us for five years as a Clinical Assistant — mainly so we can keep an eye on her to make sure she is wearing her retainers! Michelle has been learning how to golf, and she loves to wake and snowboard, read, and hang with her friends.
 Tamera, Clinical Assistant and Chief Retainer Maker
Tamera has been helping out part time with our office over the past four years. With her nineteen years of experience in orthodontics, Tamera is a tremendous asset. She enjoys gardening, travel, and cheering on the Silvertips hockey team.
 Jen, Clinical Assistant
Dr. Shields rescued Jen from her espresso drive through in 1995, fixed her eye tooth that didn't want to grow in, and trained her as the delightful, top notch assistant that she is. Jen is with us part time now as she is busy with her two young daughters. Jen vows to return to snow sports as soon as her schedule allows.
 See Mae, Lab Tech
See Mae is originally from Korea and has operated largely behind the scenes sculpting beautiful plaster models of our patients' teeth during the past five years. She is a masterful gardener and origami artist, and of course, a busy mom.
